This candle nails that balance between powdery florals and the leathery suede note—smells like stepping into a vintage shop at dusk. The soy wax burns evenly and the wick stays put, no mushrooming halfway through. Definitely my new evening pick.
The burn is so clean—no soot on the jar, and that cotton wick stays put all the way down. That musty suede note really comes alive after an hour, right when the powdery florals start to mellow out.
The powdery floral and suede combo is surprisingly well balanced, and the soy blend wax burns so clean that I barely notice any soot on the jar. Lit it last night for a few hours and the scent lingered in the hallway this morning, just the right amount of southern warmth.
